For us, regenerative tourism is about leaving people and places better than we found them.
It's more than simply reducing our impact on the environment. We believe tourism should have a positive influence on our guests, our animals, our local community and the countryside we call home.
That means encouraging visitors to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience rural life in a meaningful way. It means putting animal welfare first, supporting local businesses wherever possible and caring for the land that supports our llama herd and local wildlife.
We don't claim to have all the answers, and we're continually looking for ways to improve. Every decision, however small, is made with the aim of creating positive, lasting benefits for future guests, our community and the environment.
If guests leave feeling more relaxed, with a greater appreciation of nature, rural life and animal welfare than when they arrived, we believe we've achieved something worthwhile.
We have a page dedicated to this very subject which you can access here.
If you have any ideas that we might have missed, please let us know. We are all here on this beautiful planet doing our best and so all ideas are genuinely welcomed.
