Yes — you’re very welcome to personalise your stay and make the celebration your own. Many groups bring decorations, balloons, themed accessories, games, grazing tables, cakes, matching outfits, and other celebration touches. You’re also welcome to organise your own entertainment, workshops, or outside suppliers. Whether you’re planning something calm and creative or something energetic and chaotic, we’re usually happy to discuss ideas and see what works best for the space and your group.

Absolutely. Our setting works particularly well for hen groups wanting something more personal, memorable, and flexible than a standard town or city break. Some groups come for a calm countryside escape, while others turn the weekend into a full celebration with games, music, activities, food, and entertainment. Over the years we’ve hosted everything from water pistol battles, egg and spoon races, and “pin the willy on the donkey” to karaoke nights, silent discos, live solo artists, private dining, yoga sessions, Zumba, wine tasting, outdoor cooking experiences, sketching workshops, and craft sessions including felting. Because we’re in a rural location without immediate neighbours, groups are generally able to relax and enjoy themselves without constantly worrying about disturbing others.

Yes — we understand that hen parties and celebrations are often lively occasions. Karaoke, music, games, silent discos, outdoor activities, and evening entertainment are all things we’ve hosted before. Our countryside location gives groups much more freedom than many residential or town-based venues, and because we don’t have immediate neighbours, guests are generally able to relax and enjoy themselves properly. We simply ask groups to be respectful of the accommodation, animals, and overall setting while having a good time.

Yes — groups are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, whether that’s a few snacks and prosecco or a full weekend spread. Many groups also choose optional extras to make things easier, including BBQ dining packs, grazing food, celebration touches, or private dining experiences. Some guests prefer fully self-catered stays, while others turn the weekend into more of an organised event with food experiences built in.

Yes — the llamas are a huge part of the experience and often become one of the highlights of the weekend. Guests regularly spend time feeding them, taking photos, relaxing around the paddocks, or simply watching them wander nearby. We also offer more structured llama sessions for groups wanting feeding experiences, group photos, or a more interactive visit. The animals are calm, curious, and used to people, but interactions are always relaxed and respectful to keep the experience enjoyable for both guests and llamas alike.
